It is with great sadness that we report the passing of Mark DellaPietra, son of Monica (Truini) and Gene DellaPietra of Pittsford, New York. Mark lived and worked in Washington, DC where he acquired a faithful and lasting group of friends who join his extended family in mourning his death. Mark was 40 years of age at the time of his passing on December 17, 2015. Besides his parents, he leaves his grandmother, Josephine Truini, his brother Richard and sister Jennifer, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. His paternal grandparents were Josephine and Paul DellaPietra of East Rochester. Mark was a master baker and excellent chef who pleased all with his delights from the kitchen. He is and will be sorely missed by all who loved him.
On December 1, 2015, surrounded by family, Grace Farro Bodogh went peacefully to be with her God. Grace, of Toronto, Canada leaves behind her husband, Al Bodogh, children and grandchildren. Grace was the daughter of Mary Ciampini andJoseph Farro and her grandparents were Grazia Sacco and Guiseppe Ciampini. Her funeral services revealed a woman who was a graceful dancer in her youth, a complete homemaker, a devoted mother, sister and loyal friend. As the hymn tells us, she was an "Amazing Grace". We offer our sincere condolences to her family and friends.
Welcome to the family, Harris Halling Petti! Harris was born in Orlando, Florida on October 6, 2015 to Neil and Katie Scanlon Petti. His grandparents are Millie and Gary Petti of Wicki Wachee, Florida and his great-grandmother is Liz LaPietra Petti of East Rochester. We wish his proud Florida family good wishes and happy spoiling of your newest family member!
Condolences go out to the family and friends of Margaret DellaPietra who passed away on September 27, 2015 at the age of 90. Margaret was the daughter of Rose and Gaetano DellaPietra and a life-long resident of East Rochester. Margaret is survived by her nieces and nephews, the children of her deceased sister, Christine DellaPietra Beauchamp. Margaret will always be remembered as a devout member of St. Jerome's Church, a traveler and photographer, and someone with a strong personality concealed in petite body.

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Carmella Crispo DellaPietra on August 25, 2015. Carmella was 101 years old with a very sharp mind at the time of her death. She was the wife of Joseph DellaPietra (dec.) and a long time resident of East Rochester. She joins her husband, her daughter Rosemarie Meleo and son Daniel DellaPietra in eternity. She leaves behind many family loved ones and loyal friends. Carmella was an extraordinary woman and is sorely missed by all who knew her. May she rest in peace.

Nicole is the granddaughter of Victoria and Nick LaPietra (both dec.) of East Rochester. We wish the couple the best and hope their move and lives in Fairbanks, Alaska is filled with happiness and success.

On June 1, 2015, Anthony DellaPietra, known to family and friends as “T.J.” became the President & CEO of Citibank Japan Ltd. and Citigroup Japan Holdings Corporation. T.J. lives in Tokyo, Japan where he joined Citi in September 2004 as its Chief Legal Officer. He has almost 30 years of experience in financial services, including 20 years in Asia. He is the son of Connie DellaPietra of Virginia and Margot and Tony DellaPietra of Webster, NY and Florida. T.J. is at home in Tokyo with wife, Sayaka and sons, Nico, Teo and Luca.

A new member of our extended family was announced by grandmother, Marilyn Molica Bloomer when baby girl, Brynnley Lucille Godet, daughter of Laurie and Chris Godet and grandmother, Marilyn Molica Bloomer, arrived on June 1st, 2015. Born at 2:28 PM, Brynnley weighed in at 6.5 lbs, 20 inches. She is growing quickly and joining her male cousins as the newest member of the family. We are happy to show all four generations, including great, grandmother Lucy LaPietra Molica, pictured here. |

Early congratulations went out to Laurie Enders Godet at a baby shower held for her on March 29th at the Northside Inn in East Rochester. Laurie and her husband, Chris, are expecting a baby girl to join their family this summer. Laurie is the daughter of Michael Enders and Marilyn Molica Bloomer and the grand-daughter of Lucy LaPietra Molica. We eagerly await the first pictures of this new addition to our family tree.
Neil Petti, son of Millie and Gary Petti, was married to Katie Scanlon on March 7 in a small family wedding on St Pete beach. The new Mr. & Mrs. Petti spent a two week honeymoon in Thailand.
Neil and Katie have purchased a home on the water in South Tampa. Neil is a buyer for a government contractor and Katie runs Publix's pharmacy Insurance program. Neil is the only grandson of Liz Petti.
